music: The sound of Romik proving he can count past two.

Romik sneezed while holding up a lever. The sneeze modified his stance for long enough to divert our course. The TARDIS materialized on Canvestor 10. It is a planet full of artificial intelligence and often considered too boring according to reports of previous visitors.

There is evidence of a carbon based life form and their society all around the Canvestorians. However it seems an illness swept across the planet and left behind only the "ancestors" of the artificial intelligence that remains there today. Romik did not understand why the Canvestorians did not know how to count to two.

The Canvestorians were pleasant enough, but seemed only willing to converse about mathematics. Romik grew bored and I wished to visit Planet Krysoks in time for the singing turtle celebration. Away we went and hopefully, this time, Romik will not sneeze.

Romik had seemed preoccupied with an Earth holiday. In order to cheer him up, we returned to Earth. He then instructed me on how to create valentines and upon explaining what they are used for... I had a plan.

Using the wardrobe in the TARDIS we were able to blend in very nicely in all the major cities on Earth and give valentines to the homeless and forgotten. Our last stop on Earth before leaving again was to a less populated place in Germany just outside the Black Forest. Each valentine was accepted with a smile, however I believe it was the cake we picked up in Germany that made the work of the day more enjoyable.

Now to paint the way the grass and growth reached up to my waist in the Black Forest. For a moment I had believed I had brought us to a planet known entirely for it's overgrown nature...

It was meant to be a short holiday... but there was a malfunction with the TARDIS. After a few wrong turns, I made my way safely to Earth. There was a young homeless man that helped me get supplies needed to fix what made direction sense in the TARDIS go haywire. Upon discovering the young man had lost his home and family to a house fire... I had a feeling I would not be leaving Earth alone. Romik has an interesting sense of humour. When I asked him why he was odd, he said, "Most people in New York think Armenians are odd" When he asked me why I was odd I replied, "I am not odd, I am a Time Lord." The TARDIS seems to like him, and so he stays.

music: A traditional hymn
My TARDIS was in a mood and landed me on earth as it shaped itself as a pillar to match other pillars where a wedding was taking place. Oddly the singer that was meant to sing at the wedding had not shown up and I was immediately mistaken for this person. I, of course, did not turn down the request to sing.

Chorlton, Lancashire, England. What a lovely place to have a marriage. The bride, Helena Littlewood was so nervous and pleased at the same time. I accidently called her Ellen, and she told me it was a name she much prefered to her own.

If only more days in time and space were as peaceful as this one.

I am working on a painting of a rare flora. I have not quite finished it yet. I suppose taking a trip to see this particular flower outside of a painting would not hurt anyone...

music: The TARDIS On Best Behavior
I had just completed a small project for Lady President Romana when someone mentioned how beautiful Metak is during the Water Celebrations. I had to go see it for myself. The TARDIS seemed to be on best behavior and decided to look like an old twisting tree that blended in just so.

The Water Celebrations of Metak occur every eight of their years. A small group of comets pass near the planet and cause an odd ionization during the rain season. The comets are actually not true comets, but rather are the dark remains from the Calixan War. It creates a beautiful optical illusion that makes the rain water appear to have multiple prisms within it. Such a dark time in the history of Metak now leaves beauty in its wake

So inspired was I, that a painting had to mark this occasion. In the TARDIS gallery room I have completed a metal medium painting of my view of the Water Celebrations of Metak.

I wish someone else was with me other than just my dear TARDIS.

music: The comforting humm of the TARDIS
I believe we are in the month of Marching or something. Human months always do tend to confuse me.

I was headed toward Varos when I decided to take a detour to Earth. Little did I know then, that I would be witness to the odd phenomena of what others call a "fad."

Upon stepping out of my TARDIS, which decided to appear as a nondescript gray box on a street corner, a woman bumped into me. She was carrying quite a few boxes that she referred to as her pets. I did not have the hearts to tell her she was only carrying simple rocks. I later found out these rocks were actually keeping her employed. I do not recall her name, sweet thing she was though.

Yes, the odd "fad" phenomena I found myself in the middle of, was something called the Pet Rock. I ended up meeting a clever fellow named Gary. He seemed to be behind the whole idea of having rocks as pets. However the idea did not remain as popular and I remained as one of his assistants when he gave many away to charity. I wished him well and he gave me one of his rocks. Gary explained it was customary to name pet rocks, and so I named mine Gary.

I do intend to someday take a peek into his future and see if he turned out all right. Until then, my pet rock Gary has made one it's home upon a shelf in the partial arboretum.
